Konnichiwa!
If you're interested in joining
an anime club, then please consider Animatrix, one of the most
influential anime clubs in the Chicagoland area and the fastest-growing
in the Midwest. We're very excited about spreading the anime
movement throughout the world and we're always looking to help
out other anime fans.
The Animatrix Network is designed to promote the awareness and
appreciation of Japanese animation and manga. It also seeks to
create a better system of communication with fans all around
the world, while striving to collect the newest and most accurate
information on anime and manga.
So how do I join the Animatrix Network?
We highly recommend that you attend one
of our club meetings to see first hand what we do each month.
This way you get a better feel for the club and its activities.
Members will have access to it's exclusive video CD library,
which features a large collection of fan-subtitled anime. Ask
for our Anime Trading Rules for details. Plus they will qualify
for "members-only" contests and activities. Membership
is $20 per year if you live within the U.S.A., $22 (Canada),
$25 (the rest of the world). Please make checks or international
money orders out in U.S. currency and payable to the "Animatrix
Network".
Monthly meetings are held at the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn,
Illinois, just 25 minutes West of Chicago, where we will be screening
the newest anime releases from Japan as well as some traditional
favorites. You don't have to be a member in order to attend.
Everyone is welcome. Everyone can bring in their computers, video
and role-playing games, and any other items of interest to the
meetings. Please click here for more
information on how to get to our meetings.
