UNDERCOVER ASSASSIN TO REPENTANT: A LOOK AT TALENTLESS NANA.

By Marka Gbane 12/3/2025

UNDERCOVER ASSASSIN TO REPENTANT: A LOOK AT TALENTLESS NANA.

Among supernaturally gifted folks, one stood out so audaciously.

Nana Hiragi. Hidden in plain sight.

To everyone on the island school of the Talented, she’s just a girl with “telepathic powers”, but that’s all a facade.

Beneath the cheery persona, there's a manipulative, socially savvy, government dispatched assassin on a mission to wipe out as many supernaturally gifted teenagers as possible.

Her style isn't conventional with regards to your everyday killer. She executes her targets with such precision. Such ease. Everything is carefully planned, every move, perfectly engineered to present the killing as a result of “enemy attacks”.

She thinks her trail is cold. No one's ever going to find out who she really is, until things stop adding up. Kiilings are on the rise, but the police force is quiet about it, and that's where the story takes a different turn.

She's forced to confess her lack of papers and deeds to some of her classmates and it causes a major turn of events that involve her embarking on a reflective journey— one that helps her grow and understand that the people she was commissioned to assassinate by the government were not “threats to humanity”, as they'd been described.

And so, with the possibility that a big target may now be on her back dangling by a thin thread, she must make a decision.

Kill? Or risk being killed?

This is a production of top quality. Underrated, even with the low amount of episodes released.

Cinematic brilliance.

If you've watched it, what will you rate on a scale of 1-5 stars?

If you haven't, will you see it?
