Animation studios play the most pivotal part in delivery. They engineer everything to the taste of viewers, increasing the attractiveness of the show, in addition to the interesting story lines.
Amongst animation studios, some deserved to be placed on a pedestal, not just for the quality they bring to the world, but the groundbreaking work they've done for anime fans and even other studios.
Toei Animations, formerly Japan Animated Films, over decades, have earned the right to be regarded as the greatest animation studio ever.
Founded in 1948 by Kenzō Mazaoka and Sanae Yamamoto, and acquired in 1956 by Toei Company, they've blazed the trail for other top animation studios with the release of pioneer works like The Tale of the White Serpent, Japan’s first feature length colored animation in 1958 and Astro Boy in 1963.
Astro boy became their golden goose, gaining worldwide recognition for its sharp storyline.
They also went on to produce three of the greatest anime series ever, Dragon Ball, One Piece and Sailor Moon, praised globally by millions for their unique characters and compelling back stories.
Toei Animations didn't just grow from a dually owned anime startup to the biggest anime studio ever, it influenced a lot of decisions and lit up a path that took Asian culture to the next level.
