Have you ever wondered who the Seiyuu behind the silky voice of Shinobu Kocho from Demon Slayer is?


Meet Saoru Hayami.


Born in May 29, 1991 in Tokyo, Japan, Saoru Hayami is a voice actress that has successfully built a reputation as one of anime's most versatile seiyuu. 


She started out in 2007 with smaller supportive roles before landing a lead role in a comedy series Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru in 2013.


Since then, she's gone on to feature in the A list series including Spy x Family as Yor Forger , A Silent Voice as Shōko Nishimiya, Demon Slayer as Shinobu Kocho and Genshin Impact as Kamisato Ayaka, picking up awards at anime's premier seiyuu award in 2016 for Best Supporting Actress on A Silent Voice. 


Her flexible voice has earned her parts in over 200 anime series and games, and today, she's regarded as one of the best voice actresses in the world of anime today.
