SHOW REVIEW— TRILLION GAME.
By Marka Gbane • 1/21/2026

Let me put you on to some game.
An anime adaptation of Riichiro Inagaki’s Chainsaw Man mangaka was released in October of 2024 and aired 26 episodes between then and March of 2025.
Trillion Game is the story of a duo of a programmer, Gaku Taira and Haru Tennouji, a man born with the mind of a hustler. They were the perfect fit for business— Gaku with his creativity and Haru with his refined marketing ability. With duos like this and just the perfect drive of ambition and motivation, the possibilities are endless.
It all begins when Gaku gets his job application to Dragon Bank rejected. Just as he’s about to sink into despair, he crosses paths with an old friend, Haru, who comes up with a brilliant idea. With his— Gaku’s —programming skills, they could go into building tech startups. Haru would pitch these ideas to potential clients and investors.
Stuff like this could go wrong very easily, and in a flash, you lose everything; that’s not what Gaku wanted. He wanted stability. Haru convinced him to shoot for the stars anyway.
Haru came up with the ideas, and Gaku brought them to life. First, an online flower empire. Then a casino resort. They meet Kirika Kokuryu, a wealthy businesswoman who’s supposed to be a rival at first, but eventually gives their ideas some much needed funding.
With the cool ideas, coding ability and financial backing, this could go one of two ways, but if Haru’s selfishness is thrown into the mix, what could be the fate of the dazzling duo?
Wanna find out? Go see Trillion Game.
One of the most underrated releases of the last two years. Twenty six episodes of pure seinen cinema.
